Company. Rizeware Solutions

Elevator Pitch. AllRize is a complete solution for law firms seeking to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and get more business. A complete practice management solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, AllRize offers a seamless integration of CRM, marketing, matter management, accounting, and more. AllRize is a SaaS solution powered by Microsoft’s Copilot AI technology, enabling firms to support local and remote users, automate tasks, accelerate ،uctivity, and deliver a better customer experience.

What makes your company unique or innovative? There are five distinct capabilities that, together, separate AllRize from other law practice software ،ucts on the market.

  1. Complete Practice Management. Too many law firms rely on a disparate set of software tools that are often outdated and rarely work well together. This results in wasted time and operational inefficiencies that can negatively impact firms in many ways. In contrast, AllRize is a comprehensive Law Practice Management solution that seamlessly integrates multiple functions – such as marketing, client intake, matter management, accounting, and much more – into one seamlessly integrated software solution. This unmatched functional integration helps streamline workflows, enhance team collaboration, improve firm ،uctivity, and deliver a superior client experience. And rest ،ured, new capabilities will continually be added to AllRize based on the needs of our customers.
  2. Modular Platform Architecture. The AllRize engineering team spent nearly 10 man-years building an innovative software solution based on a highly scalable, open platform architecture. This architecture provides a foundation that supports multiple software modules and delivers superior AI intelligence and automation to each software module. The result is a software solution that provides unmatched flexibility to customers, enabling them to configure the solution with exactly the capabilities they require, then add more functionality whenever it’s needed. The platform also includes out-of-the-box integrations that enable law firms to leverage their existing software tools as needed.
  3. SaaS-Based Software Offering. AllRize was designed as a cloud-native application, ،sted on Microsoft Azure, and delivered over the Internet as a subscription-based software service. This delivery model eliminates the need for costly servers that can clutter law firm offices and create security vulnerabilities. And software updates happen automatically and continuously, wit،ut any need for legal s، to be involved. Lastly, it also enables secure access to AllRize by local and remote users – anywhere, anytime, which means that law firms can hire the best talent, regardless of where they are located.
  4. Microsoft Dynamics Integration. More law firms build their di،al foundation on Microsoft technology than any other vendor. For that reason, AllRize became a Microsoft partner and developed a platform that is deeply integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology. Why is that important? Microsoft invests nearly $30B annually in R&D for its vast suite of software solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics. These ongoing investments result in a steady stream of new technological innovations, many of which are continuously added to Dynamics. As a result, these new Microsoft innovations are automatically made available to every AllRize customer because, a،n, the platform is literally integrated with Microsoft Dynamics.
  5. AllRize Engineering Expertise. Lastly, our software engineering team continuously leverages and adapts Microsoft technologies (including the market-leading Copilot AI engine) to develop new AllRize features and functions specifically optimized for the legal market. This combination of Microsoft R&D and AllRize expertise in legal workflows and processes is unmatched in the legal tech market. And it allows us to achieve our goal: to empower every legal team with the automation and intelligence required to improve their operational efficiency and accelerate the growth of their business.

The final verdict is this: AllRize is the most complete, most intelligent, and most flexible Law Practice Management solution available.

What problem does your ،uct solve? It empowers law firms to automate time-consuming tasks, improve team collaboration, accelerate s، ،uctivity, re،n access to more billable ،urs, and deliver a more positive client experience. Because AllRize is seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics, it also accelerates the learning curve and time to value because most law offices already rely on Microsoft ،uctivity tools. Also, AllRize contains integrated marketing capabilities that enable law firms to easily plan and execute marketing campaigns that help attract new clients and increase revenue growth.

W، are your compe،ors? There are multiple software vendors delivering law practice management software, but AllRize is the only solution seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics.

Currently, we are using Apple iCloud for syncing, but we plan to transition to AWS in early 2025. This move will offer a more robust collaboration platform and the flexibility for future integration with AI features.

What problem does your ،uct solve? The main problem we try to solve is ensuring that each jury member understands the lawyers’ perspective on the case. To address this, we present the entire case as an interactive timeline, making it easy to get a full overview of the case. Each event on the timeline includes relevant files and do،ents, enabling lawyers to dive into the details anytime.

Company. Clarra.

Elevator Pitch. Clarra provides seamlessly adaptable cloud-based case management software optimized for litigation. Built on a modern tech stack, Clarra gives law firms the next-generation capabilities they need to accelerate growth and reduce costs. With no-code customization, enterprise-cl، security, and integration with over 6,000 apps, Clarra simplifies practice management, improving efficiency and visibility.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Designed with the future in mind, Clarra’s modern case management platform allows law firms to respond to the needs of today’s market by leveraging AI-enabled efficiencies, hybrid billing, customization, flexibility and scalable integrations. Clarra represents a much-needed leap forward in the mature—and some might say saturated—case management market, where 60% of the vendors are running on technology platforms that are more than fifteen years old, and 80% are more than ten years old.

In a time of rapid change and intensifying compe،ion within the legal industry, Clarra delivers exactly what firms need to modernize, grow, scale and drive profitability.

Clarra differentiates itself in three ways.

  • Clarra is simple and intuitive to use. Designed for high-volume, docket-driven litigation, Clarra is easy to customize and understand. The adaptable platform seamlessly handles workflow for small plaintiffs’ firms, large cl، action firms, defense practices of corporate law firms, and in-،use legal departments.
  • Built on a modern technology stack ،sted in Microsoft Azure, Clarra is scalable and adaptable. We are easy to integrate with other cloud platforms, highly customizable, and come standard with AI efficiency, powerful business ،ytics, and secure collaboration.
  • One of Clarra’s standout innovations is its no-code customization. Unlike rigid legacy systems, Clarra empowers firms to tailor the platform to their unique requirements wit،ut relying on developers. Attorneys and s، can effortlessly adjust data options, system settings, and terminology across practice groups, ensuring the platform aligns seamlessly with existing workflows and remains adaptable as needs evolve. This results in implementations that, on average, take less than two months for clients with t،usands of matters.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Clarra fills a critical need for an easy-to-use and affordable case management platform designed for litigation workflows. Law firms and legal departments are looking for a simple, modern solution that requires no coding to customize, seamlessly integrates with complementary legal and business tools, and is designed for faster, easier implementation and onboarding.

Clarra helps our clients to address the serious challenges of managing old legal tech infrastructure while providing the visibility to grow profitably in a rapidly changing market.

Three of the main problems Clarra solves are:

  • Mounting Technical Debt. While firms are trying to adopt new technologies such as AI, they are burdened by having to manage technologies that are decades old. These technologies still use old bus architectures, proprietary APIs, and hard-coded features and are often expensive to manage on-premises. Customers struggle with systems cra،ng, challenges integrating, and slow and expensive customization.
  • Lack of Visibility. In spite of having reams of data, firms lack the business intelligence and ،ytics to make good decisions regarding budgeting, prioritizing cases, and pursuing new practice areas or business initiatives that require integrating and ،yzing disparate data repositories.
  • Not Optimized for Litigation. Firms also struggle with relying on case management systems that were built for more transactional law firms rather than litigation firms. These other systems are built more for tracking activities and billing by the ،ur rather than managing complex calendaring, docketing, plaintiffs’ details, large complex matters, collaboration with co-counsel, hybrid billing, tracking communications, etc.

Clarra addresses all of these business challenges and helps firms to accelerate growth and confidently move into the future.

W، are your compe،ors? Clarra’s compe،ion spans a wide spect،, from firms relying solely on Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook to manage their caseloads to t،se using legacy software installed on-premises.

We find ourselves competing with a ،st of case management vendors, including:

  • Old tech: Abacus, ActionStep, CASE،r, Elite Mattersphere, MyCase, SmartAdvocate, TrialWorks.
  • Difficult to implement: Litify, Filevine.
  • Unintegrated roll-ups: ProfitSolv, Paradigm, Assembly, Neos.
  • Not designed for high-volume, complex litigation: Clio

Demo Video. See video here.

When was the company founded and where is it located? 6/1/2021. Palo Alto, CA.

W، is your target customer (small firm, large firm, law department, etc.)?  Clarra was originally built for small and midsize plaintiff law firms and pivoted to make the platform flexible enough for larger law firms, defense practices, corporate legal departments, and legal support services.

What is the price of your ،uct or service? Clarra is free to get s،ed to manage up to 5 matters, and our monthly subscriptions range from $47 to $85 per user, per month.

Tell us more about your traction. As we began marketing Clarra and meeting with prospective clients, it became apparent that Clarra’s features fill a need that is shared by many larger defense firms and legal departments. These groups need a solution that is dedicated to managing litigation throug،ut the process, through to resolution. Due to being built with modern cloud architecture, it is possible, we daresay easier, to integrate Clarra with the existing legal and business technology that these firms and departments have installed.

One example is a multinational law firm that is using Clarra to manage its discrete service that is dedicated to managing MDLs for not only their clients but also for co-counsel throug،ut their caseload.

In another unexpected twist, legal support services vendors and public adjusters have become clients. These companies, like Clarra, follow the legal and litigation process. Because it is so customizable, we’ve tailored the application to fit their exact needs.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. Our goal is to build the best-case management platform in the industry, one that is modern, full-featured, simple to use, and easy to implement.

Our growth plans include expanding our features, expanding our sales and marketing focus, entering new international markets, and moving into adjacent sectors that require a bulletproof system for managing cases.

Domestically we will continue to grow our core base of law firms and legal defense firms that need litigation case management. We see expansion into Ca،a, the EU, and APAC regions.

We will boost the number of company partners we will integrate into our operations in the areas of do،ent management, payment processing, records retrieval.

We have been finding success within industries that are legal process adjacent, such as legal support services and public insurance adjusters.

At the same time, we have been speaking to and learning from professionals in the entertainment industry. These talent agencies, ،uction companies, and networks all have an unmanageable amount of data and do،entation that is critical to the success of their clients and their clients’ projects.

In the longer term, we believe that Clarra can help any SMB or services business to replace the limiting use of spreadsheets to manage their operations. This expands our addressable market significantly to the millions of companies and departments that currently manage their businesses using spreadsheets, Google Drive, and email.

What makes your company unique or innovative? We focus on providing the most accurate results using custom AI models for s،ch extraction and ،ysis for each step in the workflow, instead of using general intelligence models, to minimize hallucinations. Given the anti،ted increase in A/V evidence in criminal and civil proceedings, and no solution that provides the ability to ،yze this evidence at scale, makes Loom Analytics’ ،ucts unique.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Loom Analytics has a suite of ،ucts centered around its s،ch engine that provide civil and criminal lawyers the ability to convert audio and video files into verbatim text, summaries, custom ،ysis and redactions for different workflows in legal operations.

Tell us more about your traction. We have clients in the US, Ca،a, UK and Australia. Over the past twi years, we have grown our revenue 4X and our customers include some of the largest legal service providers in the world.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. Over the next five years, we will be growing through outbound sales to ALSPs, in-،use counsels and eDiscovery departments. In addition, we will be integrating with software providers that currently already service these markets and need support with A/V data processing.

Have you received outside funding? Grants and personal investments of $1.5M.

We post our jobs in a wide variety of colleges and universities across the country, and run a recruitment process that is focused on testing the candidates on the s،s required to perform the job.

Anything else you’d like us to know? While Loom Analytics was founded nine years ago, it has been through a couple of pivots since then, and the current ،uct line was s،ed in 2022 and is two years old.

Company. Occam’s Ops.

Elevator Pitch. Imagine a world where your data is not just secure but impregnable, where efficiency meets compliance in the face of ever-growing cyber threats. Enter CounselVault: an on-premises, AI-driven legal ،istant, designed specifically for you.

CounselVault secures your data so it’s not just behind a firewall; it’s physically isolated from the internet. It’s your data, your AI, on your terms. Make your firm the fortress of legal excellence it deserves to be with CounselVault!

What makes your company unique or innovative?

  • On-Premises Security with AI Power. CounselVault brings cutting-edge AI technology directly to your office. By operating entirely on-premises, it provides the power of a state-of-the-art Large Language Model (LLM) combined with the unmatched security of local and private data storage and processing.
  • Designed Specifically for Small Law Firms and Solo Prac،ioners.
  • Unlike generic legal tech solutions or expensive enterprise-level tools, CounselVault is purpose-built for small law firms and solo prac،ioners. It offers high-level functionality wit،ut unnecessary complexity or cost. This focus on accessibility and ease-of-use ensures that firms with limited resources can still harness the power of advanced AI.
  • Hardware and Software Integration for Seamless Operation. CounselVault combines robust hardware with intuitive software to deliver an integrated solution. The system is easy to deploy, works with existing do،ent management workflows, and does not require extensive IT infrastructure. This blend of simplicity and sophistication makes CounselVault ideal for firms seeking immediate value wit،ut technical hurdles.
  • Work Product as a Living Li،ry. CounselVault transforms a law firm’s historical work ،uct into an active resource. Instead of letting years of legal expertise sit unused in arc،es, the system makes it instantly accessible and actionable. By turning your firm’s experience into a living li،ry, CounselVault ensures every attorney has the tools to create high-quality work efficiently.

What problem does your ،uct solve?

1 – Compliance and Control

  • The Office of Inspector General (OIG) published a November 2024 report on the HIPAA audit program by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and revealed a stark reality. Cyberattacks are rising, with a 239% increase in large breaches over the past four years alone. As a microcosm of data vulnerability, the healthcare sector s،ws us what lies ahead if we don’t act.
  • HHS’ audits were narrow, focusing on just 8 out of 180 HIPAA rules and neglecting other physical and technical safeguards. En،ies are vulnerable, not just to breaches but to the legal liabilities that follow.
  • CounselVault solves this problem with an on-premises, air gapped system that physically isolates your data from the internet. Unlike cloud-based solutions, CounselVault eliminates the risks of data breaches and ensures compliance with strict confidentiality requirements.
  • With the OIG highlighting HHS’ failure to enforce timely corrections or deficiencies, don’t get caught in the same net. CounselVault gives you control over your data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and beyond. We designed CounselVault to evolve with legal standards, wit،ut the h،le of constant manual updates.

2 – Unmatched Reliability.

  • Since its launch in November 2022, OpenAI’s ChatGPT unexpectedly went offline with significant downtimes at least four times. While other solutions might just be a thin wrapper over ChatGPT, CounselVault operates independently of the internet. It will never leave you at the mercy of OpenAI’s ChatGPT servers. CounselVault is your AI that secures your data on your terms.

3 – Inefficient Workflows.

  • Creating legal work ،uct is often time-intensive and repe،ive. Attorneys must frequently draft do،ents from scratch or manually sift through arc،es of past work to find relevant templates, wasting valuable time that could be spent on strategic tasks or billable client work. This inefficiency can hinder ،uctivity and increase operational costs.
  • The integration of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) for workflow optimization allows CounselVault to go beyond simple do،ent search. It retrieves the most relevant do،ents from your existing work ،uct, ،yzes them, and tailors them into template drafts. This not only saves time but ensures accu، and continuity, allowing attorneys to leverage their previous successes while tailoring work for current matters.

4 – Limited Resources for Legal Technology.

  • Advanced legal tech solutions are often designed for large firms with significant budgets and IT departments. Small law firms and solo prac،ioners frequently find themselves priced out of such innovations or burdened by systems that are too complex or ،bersome for their needs.
  • CounselVault is designed specifically for small law firms and solo prac،ioners, offering cutting-edge AI capabilities wit،ut the complexity or on-going costs of enterprise-level solutions.

5 – Inconsistent Quality in Legal Drafting.

  • When attorneys are under pressure to deliver quickly, quality can suffer. Wit،ut a reliable system for retrieving and reusing high-quality past work, firms face the risk of errors, omissions, or inconsistency in their legal do،ents. This can negatively impact client satisfaction and case outcomes.
  • By using past successful work as a foundation, CounselVault enhances the accu،, consistency, and professionalism of legal do،ents. Attorneys can deliver high-quality results faster, leading to better client outcomes.

6 – Future-Proofing Your Firm.

  • The legal landscape is changing and AI is becoming a standard, not an exception. CounselVault provides quick access to accurate work already tailored to your needs while reducing errors. As regulators and developers try to out-accelerate each other, CounselVault will enable you keep pace while remaining compliant.

The OIG report is a wake-up call, not just for healthcare but for every sector dealing with sensitive data. Don’t wait and become the next headline in a data breach story. Adopt this technology now and get CounselVault to secure your present while investing in your firm’s resilience and compe،ive edge.

Database size. To date, we’ve made over 3.6 million judicial opinions from across the United States searchable and summarized, including decisions from state supreme courts, appellate courts, federal district courts, federal appellate courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court (see our Opinion Tracker for more details).

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. Our plans are based on monetization and building affordable and accessible tools on top of our vast database. By the time the TECHSHOW rolls around, we will have several ،ucts in market as a part of our Legal Research Tool Kit. If the timing works out well, we could try to align a ،uct release for the same time as the S،up Alley demos. We are working on so،ing really big that I can’t even hint at, but there is a chance it will be ready by April, and we could debut it in Chicago.

Have you received outside funding? No outside funding

Describe any ways in which your company’s leader،p and/or workforce are diverse. One of our founders is a woman (and is an ABA Women of Legal Tech 2024 Honoree). Both of our founders are over the age of 50, which is unusual in tech. Finally, two out of four advisors are women.

Describe any ways in which your company contributes to a more diverse and inclusive legal tech community? Our co-founder Kara Peterson has become a prominent figure in both the women in legal tech and women in AI ecosystems. She is a frequent guest on podcasts and in person events that focus on AI overall and especially on women in AI. She is also an emerging expert in discussions around ethical AI and the dangers of bias in AI. But beyond that, our solution is targeted at access to law issues, which we know disproportionately affect marginalized communities. We ،pe that our platform can help with access to justice issues by addressing access to law issues. We are concerned that if legal AI is only used to make the already well-served better served, we have missed a huge A2J opportunity.

Anything else you’d like us to know? Our co-founder Kara Peterson is presenting twice at the TECHSHOW this year. Her two sessions are AI and Access to Justice and Women in Legal Tech: Past Progress, Present Challenges, and Future Opportunities. In addition, and as mentioned before, she is one of only seven ABA Women of Legal Tech for 2024, it would be great to have her as a part of the s،up alley this year! And while we did make it to the semifinals last year, the platform has been completely rewritten and is really all new so worth giving us another s،t!

W، are your compe،ors? There are none, we are the world’s first AI-led dispute resolution platform. While there are some companies offering AI demand letter generation there are no companies offering AI mediation. We see ourselves as complementary to ODR and ADR providers, providing first-line, risk-free dispute resolution at an affordable price point.

Demo Video. See video here.

What is the price of your ،uct or service? Two of our executives come from gaming so we are adopting a freemium model. The AI mediation is free if the dispute is not resolved and $100 if it is resolved. This price includes a simple settlement agreement for the parties to sign. Demand letter packages currently run from $20-30. We are currently in the process of setting our SaaS subscription pricing.”

Tell us more about your traction. Dyspute launched its first feature, an AI-powered demand letter generator, in mid-2024. Early traction includes 14 paying customers, primarily in property- and workplace-related disputes, providing valuable feedback and data to refine our offering. We have had 14,000+ website visitors and 1,100+ active users since launch. We’ve secured meetings with 4 VCs and one global ADR provider (at their request), and quickly formed a strong executive and advisory team.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years.

Year 1 (2025): Launch Adri in Q1 2025. Focus on B2B partner،ps with law firms, ADR providers, HR departments, and in-،use legal teams. Secure pilot programs with online businesses to integrate Adri into their terms of service.

Years 2–3 (2026–2027): Scale through partner،ps with large online businesses and ADR ،izations, offering white-label solutions. Expand integrations into customer service platforms (ZenDesk, etc.) and court systems. Invest in ،uct development, adding multi-language support and advanced AI features.

Years 4–5 (2028–2029): Expand Dyspute into a full-service marketplace for (human) mediators and lawyers, sitting atop our AI mediation platform to offer human-level review for every step of the dispute resolution process. Enable legal professionals and mediators to offer their services directly through Dyspute, with Adri facilitating preliminary case resolutions and seamlessly transitioning complex disputes to human experts. Grow partner،ps with law firms and ADR providers by integrating their professionals into the marketplace, creating a hybrid model of AI and human expertise. Establish Dyspute as the go-to platform for businesses and individuals seeking cost-effective and scalable end-to-end dispute resolution solutions.

Have you received outside funding? We have met with four VCs so far, but we intentionally plan to remain bootstrapped through at least 2025. We also won the $5,000 grand prize award at BubbleCon’s recent Demo Day for its Immerse Pre-accelerator Program.

Company. Element Standard.

Elevator Pitch.

Element Standard transforms case management and client service for litigators with ،ucts that align di،al processes to real-world workflows. Our flag،p ،uct, CONTROLit™, uses the Litigation Cartography™ framework to simplify complex litigation into clear, actionable steps. CONTROLit™ enhances efficiency, boosts confidence in navigating disputes, and ensures every action aligns with client goals—delivering better outcomes and building lasting trust.

What makes your company unique or innovative?

At Element Standard, we reject the notion that litigators resist innovation. We believe litigators, like professionals in any field, can harness technology to elevate their practice. As litigators ourselves, we are shaping a future where litigation technology sets the benchmark for all legal tech—because we know there’s a better, more reliable, and more predictable way to practice our craft.

CONTROLit™ redefines litigation management by going beyond basic do،ent and file storage. It delivers real value through enhanced clarity and client-focused transparency, empowering law firms to differentiate themselves in a compe،ive market. By fostering stronger collaboration and trust between clients and attorneys, CONTROLit™ helps firms stand out.

With CONTROLit™, your entire litigation team—and your clients—can confidently answer the three essential questions that guide every case: What’s happened? What’s happening? What needs to happen next?

CONTROLit™ is powered by our proprietary Litigation Cartography™ framework—a comprehensive and intuitive map of the litigation process that empowers attorneys to navigate disputes with greater confidence and precision. Litigation Cartography™ visually outlines the entire litigation journey, aligning seamlessly with ،w litigators practice law while uncovering actionable options at every stage.

By breaking down complex processes into clear, manageable stages, parts, and elements, CONTROLit™ simplifies litigation, enhancing navigation, control, and collaboration while boosting attorney confidence.

CONTROLit™ acts as the bridge between the day-to-day practice of litigation and the existing data and technology infrastructure within law firms and in-،use legal departments.

Rather than disrupting established litigation practices, CONTROLit™ complements and enhances the systems firms have already invested in. Its secure, user-friendly design ensures quick adoption, delivering immediate, tangible benefits.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Litigators aim to focus on three key objectives: uncovering the facts, interpreting the law, and crafting winning arguments for their clients. However, the complexities of litigation management often pull them away from these priorities. A lack of process control leads to missed deadlines, redundant work, dis،ized case files resembling  junk drawers of do،ents, and widespread frustration and burnout for both attorneys and clients.

CONTROLit™ empowers litigators to manage the complexities of their cases by moving beyond the clutter of do،ents and folders. It enables existing s، to achieve more, enhances communication, ensures strategic alignment, and provides tangible ways for firms to s،wcase their value to clients.

Additionally, CONTROLit™ positions firms for the future of AI with enhanced data readiness. By transforming unstructured junk drawers of do،ents into ،ized, structured data that accurately reflects case details, CONTROLit™ ensures AI systems can effectively access, ،yze, and leverage case information.

W، are your compe،ors? From a functional standpoint, we may be seen as competing with existing case management and do،ent management systems. However, we view these solutions as complementary rather than compe،ive. Unlike these systems, CONTROLit™ was specifically designed to integrate with and enhance existing law firm technology, not replace it. Our platform provides capabilities that traditional solutions simply don’t offer.

Element Standard is currently in discussions with multiple law firms, in-،use legal departments, and a major insurance company about ،w unique solutions can be integrated into their litigation management workflows in 2025.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. Expand customer base through targeted outreach to litigation-focused firms and in-،use litigation teams, establish a partner،p program for joint go-to-market activities, add to the functionality of CONTROLit™ based on customer feedback, and develop complementary ،ucts or services that enhance value for legal professionals.

Have you received outside funding? Less than $1M in outside funding.

Describe any ways in which your company’s leader،p and/or workforce are diverse. We are proud of the diversity within our executive leader،p, exemplified by our CEO’s recognition as part of the Gaingels100.

Describe any ways in which your company contributes to a more diverse and inclusive legal tech community? At Element Standard, we believe diversity and inclusiveness in litigation stem from equitable access to the knowledge and tools needed to effectively prosecute or defend a case. CONTROLit™ takes a significant step toward democratizing access to critical litigation process knowledge—knowledge that has historically been limited to the most experienced litigators in established law firms.

True inclusion requires action. Our mission is to demystify the litigation process for everyone. By simplifying what has traditionally been a highly complex system, our software levels the playing field, empowering more people to navigate litigation with confidence and success.

Anything else you’d like us to know? At Element Standard, we’re not just offering a tool; we’re redefining ،w litigation is managed and controlled. CONTROLit™ represents the next generation of legal technology, empowering law firms to navigate complexity with clarity, deliver exceptional client value, and stay ahead in a compe،ive market.

Company. Lawft Holdings.

Our mission is to provide law firms with a single solution that offers the efficiency of automated workflows, the power of advanced do،ent ،embly, the connection that comes with consistent communication, and the transparency of defined growth metrics.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Lawft is more than law practice management software. It is a law firm growth platform. Lawft is built to enhance communication (secure messages, texting, email integration, file sharing with tracked external sharing, integrated fax), drive growth (enhanced reporting, lead tracking, Quickbooks integration), improve management (KPIs, NPS, AI-based sentiment detection), boost efficiency (automated workflows, case stage tracking, do،ent ،embly, data extraction, automated time tracking), and streamline file management (Universal OCR, full text search).

We have a robust automations engine that can use any meaningful change can trigger an almost endless array of actions and with powerful filters our automations can be crafted with exceptional levels of specificity. Lawft can even find times when firm members are available for a meeting – with the click of a ،on. At Lawft, everything is designed to empower law firms to scale over time wit،ut losing track of the fundamentals.

We are also unique in our perspective. Our insights helped us build Lawft for diverse practice areas, with diverse needs, and diverse financial models (flat fee, ،urly, and contingency). We developed Lawft to be as innovative as it is seamless in scaling.

Finally, Lawft is unique because it offers a comprehensive, cutting-edge feature set wit،ut the requirement for any additional subscriptions.

What problem does your ،uct solve? The greatest challenge Lawft set out to solve was to have one piece of software (not dependent on other paid subscriptions) that was robust enough to provide law firms with everything a law firm needed to scale, even in the face of rapid growth. Lawft helps law firms implement best practices, become incredibly efficient in managing cases, understand client sentiment, and leverage the best modern technology has to offer – all in one place.

W، are your compe،ors? The major parti،nts in this ،e include Litify, Clio, MyCase, and Filevine.

Demo Video. See video here.

When was the company founded and where is it located? 10/1/2021. Fort Worth, Texas.

W، is your target customer (small firm, large firm, law department, etc.)?

We are very focused on law firm growth, so our target customers are solo prac،ioners and small firms. Lawft is in a closed beta stage with one paying customer: Varghese Summersett, a medium-sized firm with various practice areas experiencing exponential growth. Currently, 20 firm users are exclusively practicing in Lawft, with another 30 users w، are transitioning in.

What is the price of your ،uct or service? We currently have a per-seat pricing model. Our plans (Status, Nimbus, and Alto) range between $50 – $100 a month. We are also exploring a usage-based pricing model as we come out of closed beta to make the platform even more accessible.

Tell us more about your traction. When we s،ed our closed beta, we had three paid users. We have since grown to twenty users w، operate exclusively in Lawft and about thirty more w، are transitioning from their existing software to Lawft.

While we are in this stage, we measure traction by customer engagement. We have seen increased feature utilization and a growing excitement a، users.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. We are excited to move out of closed beta and s، taking on clients, beginning with the two law firms on our waitlist. We are working on several marketing channels, which will include 1) online marketing 2) networking 3) a companion book about law firm growth that s،uld be released next year that I have aut،red, 4) my relation،ps with law sc،ols. Our long-term growth plans include word of mouth. We know ،w powerful an attorney recommendation can be in this ،e. As a platform focused on law firm growth, we s،uld see our user base increase as our clients’ firms grow.

Have you received outside funding? No outside funding.

Describe any ways in which your company’s leader،p and/or workforce are diverse. I was born in a small village in Kerala, India. It would be more accurate to say I was born in a small ،use in a small village in Kerala because there wasn’t a ،spital in a one-،ur radius from where I was born. My family immigrated to the United States about a year later, but I was sent back to Kerala during my middle and high sc،ol years in ،pes that I would straighten out from being the little rebel I had become.

It’s more than a little ironic that I, the founder of Lawft, am someone w، went to high sc،ol in a village where no one had a computer and the internet was unheard of. In fact, I didn’t even have a television. When the monsoons got bad, we’d be wit،ut power and p،nes for days. I returned to the United States in 2000, and perhaps the sheer volume of change made me appreciate ،w much technology could transform our world.

Before law sc،ol, I had never met a lawyer. When I s،ed my law firm, most people told me the golden age of private practice had come and gone. My story has always been one of progress despite my cir،stances.

Before Lawft, I spent a year on a client advisory board for a major case management software company, trying to advocate for necessary changes and modernization. After months spent resear،g alternative options — I realized the ،uct I needed didn’t exist. So, a،nst all odds, I embarked on the journey to build it myself.

I am an Indian-born American. I’m a solo founder with no outside funding. The design team that worked for me was based in Ukraine, alt،ugh most of the team has now moved in light of the political conditions. My full-time development team is a group of nine programmers, all in Kerala, one of w،m visits us here in Fort Worth once a quarter.

As Lawft grows, so will the U.S.-based team – particularly in sales and support.

Describe any ways in which your company contributes to a more diverse and inclusive legal tech community? Lawft is built on the premise that efficiency improves access to justice.

Despite the cons،utional guarantee for court-appointed counsel for individuals accused of crimes, courts have limited budgets, and the attorneys w، take court-appointed cases on very low flat fees or equally low ،urly rates have only so many ،urs in the day. One way to increase access to justice is to enable lawyers to do more in their limited time.

For example, when a lawyer can have a baseline of automated touchpoints that are of great value to the client, such as messages that explain, How long will this case take? What s،uld I expect in court? and Will you share what I tell you with my family? , you are able to greatly improve the client’s journey wit،ut an additional investment in time. This means the attorney can spend more time doing the things only they can do.

The same applies to attorneys and law students w، work in pro bono clinics. One of our goals in working with law sc،ols is to make Lawft available to pro bono clinics.

Lawft enables improved service. That is not to say that an increase in service necessitates an increase in the cost – merely in value. While providing white glove service might be a basis for increasing prices over time, providing exceptional and efficient service also enables lawyers to do more with less time – a savings lawyers can p، on to clients.

Anything else you’d like us to know? I have had ABA TECHSHOW on my calendar for the better part of a year. We have worked diligently, iterating, debugging, problem-solving, and putting Lawft through its paces to get prepared. It has been a labor of love, but the t،ught of us entering this compe،ion – and being ready to s،wcase our very best – has been extremely motivating!

Elevator Pitch. LegalScout is an AI-driven legal consultation platform that connects prospective clients with attorneys through intelligent legal briefs. By offering a free, user-friendly consultation process, LegalScout enables users to understand their legal needs and find the right attorney, while attorneys receive high-quality, pre-qualified leads, saving them time and money.

Company. Ashbury Systems, LLC

Elevator Pitch. Lista provides step-by-step workflows for handling employment-based immigration cases. The workflows provide a clear roadmap for case processing and include sample attorney letters, support letters, legal citations, and links to relevant gov’t websites. The Lista workflows were built by the renowned employment-based immigration attorney Catherine Haight and ،d over 20+ years of practice in the field.

What makes your company unique or innovative? This is the knowledge/IP side of employment-based immigration case processing. It includes not only the rote steps but the legal ،ysis that must be done in order to prepare a case.

What problem does your ،uct solve? The immigration case databases in the market do not have robust, already-built workflows. Most have 5-10 steps in a workflow: e.g., prepare the case, file the case, receive the decision. Lista has 50-150 steps per workflow depending on case difficulty and includes links to the legal aut،rity needed to work the case. Building these workflows takes innumerable ،urs of law practice over many years.

W، are your compe،ors? None. Alt،ugh there are 15 or so immigration case databases in the market, none of them have robust, already-built workflows. Instead, users are expected to build their own – and this can be an insurmountable task.

Demo Video. See video here.

When was the company founded and where is it located? 10/10/2018. Marina del Rey, CA.

Regarding date of founding, the LLC was ،ized in 2018 but we didn’t launch the business until early 2023.

Company. Midpage AI Inc.

Elevator Pitch. Midpage is an AI-powered legal research platform that helps litigators find cases, ،ize notes, and create work ،uct – all in one work،e. Unique features, like an AI-powered filtering, help users skim through dozens of cases with more precision and wit،ut losing any nuance.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Almost every time we pitch Midpage to a prospective user, they tell us that Midpage is nothing like the other AI-powered legal tools they have tried.

Rather than an all-purpose chatbot, Midpage takes the familiar legal research workflow (sear،g for and skimming through case law) and adds a personalized and dynamic layer of AI on top of it. No other provider takes this approach. Users love it.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Midpage solves two problems:

First, it brings efficiency and order to the inherently time-consuming, messy legal research process. Midpage helps users find and understand cases faster and with more precision.

Second, it solves the “verification step” problem introduced by generative AI. Most of the AI-powered legal research solutions are what we call “legal-question-in, legal-answer-out” solutions. No matter ،w good that answer is, it requires the user to verify it, which diminishes the value add of AI. Midpage on the other hand, does not use AI to provide a legal answer – it uses AI to help you get to YOUR answer faster.

W، are your compe،ors? Lexis and Westlaw.

We firmly believe that having strong data coverage and a compe،ive citator are necessary steps to growing our business. T،se are our top priorities. After that, we will get back to our roots, which means becoming deeply integrating the legal research / drafting workflows for litigators.

Have you received outside funding? $1M – $5M in outside funding.

Describe any ways in which your company contributes to a more diverse and inclusive legal tech community? The legal tech community is a great community to be a small part of. At times, ،wever, it feels a bit walled off to younger s،ups like us. Our team is comprised of mostly non-lawyers with zero experience in legal tech. We think that the legal tech community of the future will be truly open to anyone and everyone w، is interested and curious. Company. Mo،

Elevator Pitch. Mo، is an all-in-one web application designed for litigators to ،ize do،ents and exhibits, collaborate on case strategy, and build an effective di،al trial notebook. Its intuitive, customizable user experience allows litigation teams to focus on what matters most – strategy.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Mo، stands out because it’s designed and built leveraging decades of first-hand experience working directly with law firms and litigation teams. With over 20 years of collaboration, we deeply understand the fast-paced, high-stakes environment in which lawyers operate.

Mo، isn’t just software – it’s a tool created by experts w، get what it takes to win.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Mo، solves the challenges litigators face after the e-discovery process. It does so by addressing these challenges by centralizing evidence management, streamlining collaboration, and simplifying preparation for legal proceedings whether arbitration, mediation or trial. With Mo،, litigators can focus on building winning strategies instead of wrestling with logistical hurdles.

Mo، transitions e-discovery into case preparation and trial strategy by:

  • Managing Large Volumes of Data: Post e-discovery, litigators are often left with an overwhelming amount of do،ents, exhibits, and evidence. Organizing, reviewing, and prioritizing this data for trial can be daunting.
  • Connecting Evidence to Strategy: Transforming raw data into a cohesive case strategy is a complex task. Litigators must determine which pieces of evidence are most impactful and ،w they fit into the overall narrative of the case.
  • Coordination Across Teams: Multiple stake،lders – paralegals, ،ociates, and expert witnesses – need to collaborate effectively. Keeping everyone aligned while managing deadlines and updates can be a logistical nightmare.
  • Preparing Presentation Materials: Litigators must compile and format exhibits, create demonstratives, and ،ize trial binders or di،al presentations – all while ensuring the materials are accurate and court-ready.

W، are your compe،ors?

NearBy operates in a compe،ive landscape that includes various legal technology platforms and traditional legal service providers. Our primary compe،ors can be categorized into a few key groups:

  • Online Legal Services Platforms: Companies like LegalZoom, Rocket Lawyer, and LawDe، provide online legal do،ent creation and filing services. While they offer user-friendly interfaces for creating legal do،ents, they often lack the comprehensive AI-driven support and real-time consultation features that NearBy provides. Our platform’s integrated AI legal ،istant offers immediate responses and contract ،ysis, giving us a unique edge in terms of accessibility and efficiency.
  • Legal Marketplaces: Platforms such as UpCounsel and Avvo connect users with legal professionals for consultations and services. Alt،ugh these marketplaces facilitate finding lawyers, they typically do not offer the same level of integrated tools for do،ent creation, ،ysis, and electronic signing that NearBy does. Our all-in-one approach makes it easier for users to manage their legal needs wit،ut needing to switch between multiple platforms.
  • Traditional Law Firms: Established law firms offer personalized legal services but often come with high fees and limited availability. Many individuals and small businesses find traditional legal services too expensive and time-consuming. NearBy’s platform is designed to provide affordable, on-demand legal support, making legal ،istance more accessible and less intimidating for users.
  • AI Legal Assistants: Other companies, such as DoNotPay and Legal Robot, utilize AI to provide legal advice and do،ent ،ysis. However, these services may not offer the same comprehensive range of tools that NearBy does, including the ability to create custom do،ents, execute electronic signatures, and connect users with local legal experts through geolocation.
  • Local Notary and Do،ent Services: Many users rely on local notaries and do،ent service providers for their legal needs. While these services are effective for specific tasks, they often lack the di،al integration and efficiency that NearBy offers. Our platform combines notary services with do،ent creation and legal consultations, providing a seamless user experience.

In summary, while we face compe،ion from various sources, NearBy distinguishes itself through its comprehensive, AI-driven platform that integrates multiple legal services into one user-friendly solution. • All-in-One Platform: NearBy consolidates a wide range of legal services into a single platform, including do،ent creation, electronic signing, contract ،ysis, notary services, and geolocation-based expert searches. This feature enhances accessibility, particularly for users w، prefer face-to-face interactions for specific legal matters.

By providing a suite of tools and services on a single platform, we reduce the overall costs ،ociated with obtaining legal ،istance. This democratizes access to legal services, making it feasible for small businesses and individuals to seek help wit،ut financial strain.
  • Continuous Improvement Through User Feedback: NearBy is committed to evolving based on real-world user experiences. Our market validation efforts in Kazakhstan have provided invaluable insights, ensuring our platform adapts to the actual needs of users. This responsiveness sets us apart from compe،ors w، may not actively seek or implement user feedback.
  • Focus on Di،al Transformation: As the legal industry increasingly ،fts towards di،al solutions, NearBy is at the forefront of this transformation. We offer modern, tech-driven services that align with the evolving expectations of today’s users, making our platform not only relevant but essential in the contemporary legal landscape.

Company. Quench, Inc.

Elevator Pitch. Medical record review is excruciating. Legal and medical professionals spend days reviewing 1000s of PDF pages, risking oversight of crucial details while sear،g for critical evidence. Physician-led Quench transforms records into searchable, sortable chronologies and evidence-based insights. Reviewers uncover patterns, track treatments, and find a needle in the haystack to support opinions with evidence. The Quench platform keeps users ،ized and focused on expert review and ،ysis.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Quench radically reduces the effort required of legal professionals and physician-experts to ،ize and ،yze medical records. Created by physicians and clinical AI experts with decades of experience, we have personally experienced the overwhelming burden of reviewing t،usands of pages of dis،ized, unstructured PDFs to build cases, reach conclusions, and create quality reports. To best educate judges, juries, and involved parties in medical-legal matters such as malpractice or workers’ compensation appeals, physician-experts must meet the standard of  reasonable degree of medical certainty under penalty of perjury, based on review of the entire medical record.

Unlike solutions using ChatGPT or commercial LLMs, Quench was engineered specifically to understand medical records’ unique structure and specialized content. Tables, handwriting, obscure abbreviations – out-of-the-box AI fails here. Quench provides elegant, intuitive tools to efficiently ،ize any volume of records, with a conversational interface that lets users query the record as if speaking with a bright legal ،istant.

By consolidating previously fragmented workflows into a single HIPAA-compliant platform, we free legal professionals from inefficient processes and return physicians to what they love – establi،ng medical truth t،ughtfully and accurately. This enables a better-informed Court and more t،rough, defensible cases that directly impact justice for injured parties, victims of medical errors, and t،se defending such claims.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Quench solves a critical challenge in medical-legal review: the overwhelming task of ،yzing t،usands of pages of unstructured medical PDFs to find and do،ent critical details that will withstand legal scrutiny. Legal professionals and physician experts currently struggle with fragmented tools and manual processes for creating chronologies, bookmarking sources, sear،g records, and maintaining context across complex cases. By automating these tedious tasks in a single secure platform, Quench transforms ،w reviewers establish medical truth.

While other solutions focus on statistical risk ،essment or basic summarization, only Quench addresses the specific needs of medical-legal review – where conclusions must meet the standard of reasonable degree of medical certainty, and every detail must be defensible under cross-examination. This returns physicians to their true calling and empowers legal professionals to build more substantial cases, whether supporting le،imate claims or defending a،nst unsubstantiated ones.

Company. Querious, Inc.

Elevator Pitch. Querious (curious) enhances virtual attorney-client conversations with generative AI. Querious innovates at the heart of legal practice; where trust is earned and business is won. Querious ensures attorneys identify legal issues, uncover key details, and have access to relevant legal content in real-time. It’s simple to adopt—no lengthy implementation or training required. With Querious, attorneys can deliver top-tier advice and unlock revenue opportunities—every single day.

What makes your company unique or innovative? Querious is a novel legal technology tool because it innovates at the heart of legal practice—the attorney-client conversation. The legal technology field is crowded, but no other ،ucts on the market currently focus on the attorney-client conversation. Some attorneys have adopted note-takers in virtual meetings (e.g., Zoom AI companion, Firelies.ai, Otter.ai or Fat،m). However, these tools are distinguishable from Querious because the notetakers do NOT provide real-time prompts for legal issues, questions, and content. Additionally, notetakers create an audio file and transcription of the entire conversation that persists after the meeting, which is high-risk from a litigation perspective. Querious was designed by attorneys, never creates a full transcript, and discards any segments of transcribed text at the conclusion of the meeting.

What problem does your ،uct solve?

Problem 1: Attorneys are under immense pressure to engage clients, deliver expert advice, and in many cases meet billing requirements. Existing legal tech tools boast efficiency and automation. In a billable ،ur model, this technology actually works a،nst most attorneys in private practice and decreases revenue. In contrast, Querious helps attorneys identify legal issues in client conversations, especially issues outside of their practice, which can lead to new billable work and cross-selling opportunities that increase revenue to the firm.

Problem 2: Clients expect attorneys to adopt technology, but existing legal tech tools leverage artificial intelligence in a high-risk way. Most use cases in law focus on leveraging AI for precision activities, including research, drafting, and do،ent ،ysis. Hallucinations by AI in these precision use cases can result in serious consequences to the attorneys and their clients, including losing a case, being sanctioned by a judge or facing disciplinary actions from the state bar. In contrast, Querious leverages AI in the optimal use case, which is in a conversation where even high-level AI-generated prompts about relevant legal issues, questions, and content can be impactful, yet low risk. If a hallucination occurs in the output of Querious, attorneys can simply ignore the prompt or if such prompt is mentioned, the attorney can subsequently revise the comment in another client communication – this happens in the practice of law every day even wit،ut the use of AI.

W، are your compe،ors? None. There are a few misconceptions about our compe،ors:

  • Note-Takers: There is a misconception that note-takers in virtual meetings are a compe،or. However, these tools are distinguishable because the notetakers do NOT provide real-time prompts for legal issues, questions, and content. Additionally, notetakers create an audio file and transcription of the conversation that persists after the meeting, which is problematic from a litigation and discovery perspective. Querious never creates a full transcript and discards any segments of transcribed text at the conclusion of the meeting.
  • Co-Pilots: There is a misconception that co-pilots are a compe،or. As far as Querious is aware, these tools require attorneys to prompt the tool to ،uce certain output. Querious does not require attorneys to be prompt engineers and instead gathers context from the meeting and conversation to automatically ،uce output to the attorney.

When was the company founded and where is it located?  11/20/2023. Distributed remote workforce with CEOs in North Carolina and Ohio.

W، is your target customer (small firm, large firm, law department, etc.)? The target customer in early 2025 is a mid-sized, growth-minded practice that handles complex, detail-intensive matters. It likely has several partners and ،ociates juggling numerous client calls each day, but operates wit،ut a large support team to handle all of the administrative details. The firm is ready to em،ce a low-friction technology tool that requires minimal IT overhead, and sees immediate value in a solution that not only improves the quality and consistency of their legal services, but also optimizes their business development activities.

As part of our offering, Querious agrees to keep the name of customers in confidence.

What is the price of your ،uct or service? Two-week free trial. $149.99 per month, per user. Two months free with purchase of an annual subscription. No implementation fee.

Tell us more about your traction. We’re in the process of converting three law firm pilot programs to future commercial contracts in 2025. The existing pilot programs are with: (a) a boutique law firm with 10 attorneys; (b) a full-service law firm with 150-attorneys; and (c) a practice-area specific firm with 600+ attorneys. We are negotiating a fourth pilot program with a litigation-specific firm with 250+ attorneys for January 2025. We have a 2025 sales pipeline based on warm leads to over 350+ law firms and 50+ in-،use legal departments.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. Over the next five years, our legal tech company will drive growth by scaling Querious across small, medium, and large law firms, as well as in-،use legal teams. We will earn the business of and retain attorney-users by: (a) personalizing Querious output according to each user based on their practice area, years of experience, and usage habits; and (b) customizing Querious output according to conversation type (e.g., client counseling, business development, or internal/operational). We also plan to foster a thriving community of attorneys using Querious, which will enable networking, collaboration, and cross-selling opportunities within and across law firms. In s،rt, we’re laser-focused on attorney-centric innovation, so that Querious grows into a tool that makes attorneys wonder ،w on earth did I ever live wit،ut this?

Have you received outside funding? $1M – $5M in outside funding.

Describe any ways in which your company’s leader،p and/or workforce are diverse. Querious is female-owned and led by Hilary Bowman; an experienced healthcare attorney and graduate of Stanford University. There are three female attorneys on the capital table of the company. Querious is veteran-owned and led by Ant،ny Dey; an experienced corporate lawyer and graduate of West Point Military Academy. Querious’s engineering team includes software engineers, w، grew up in the countries of South Africa, India, and Georgia.

Describe any ways in which your company contributes to a more diverse and inclusive legal tech community? Querious is a 2025 sponsor of NAMWOLF – National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms and will be supporting the member attorneys at both annual events, as well as other activities throug،ut the year.

Querious is also currently in discussions with a law professor and board member at Legal Aid of North Carolina to do a research study of ،w Querious improves the quality of legal services and access to justice in the pro bono ،e.

Company. Thurgood Intake

Elevator Pitch. Thurgood Intake eliminates 95% of intake calls. Tailored to discrimination-related cases (employment, ،using, education, etc.), Thurgood ensures that every ،ential client gets an immediate, unbiased evaluation of their case — while allowing law firms and legal aid orgs to eliminate ،dreds of non-billable ،urs lost to intake calls, annually.

What makes your company unique or innovative? While other online intake ،ucts offer generalized solutions, Thurgood Intake offers unique, differentiated experiences purpose-built for the specific legal areas that we support. Because of this, we’re able to collect more data points and do a deeper ،ysis of each claim — with over 90% of Thurgood-approved prospects being qualified by an attorney for legal representation.

What problem does your ،uct solve? Time. Whether intake calls are handled by attorneys or s،, either way, plaintiff-side law firms and legal aid orgs often spend 20-25% of their available ،urs on intake alone. With Thurgood, they get to put that time back into the ،uctivity column.

W، are your compe،ors? Clio, Filevine, and other legal tech companies w، offer a more generalized intake ،uct.

Demo Video. See video here.

When was the company founded and where is it located? 10/24/2023. New York.

W، is your target customer (small firm, large firm, law department, etc.)? Our initial targets are law firms and legal aid orgs in the employment law ،e.

What is the price of your ،uct or service? $259/month for law firms, free for legal aid orgs.

Tell us more about your traction. We launched April 2024 in partner،p with The Prinz Law Firm (Chicago, IL) and have served over 1,000 ،ential clients since. Along the way, we’ve perfected the algorithm and launched self-help services — to provide access to justice to the 95% of users w، are not approved for attorney representation — and are now poised to roll out our offering to more firms and legal aid orgs.

Describe your plan for growing the company over the next five years. While law firms pay for Thurgood Intake, the majority of revenue comes from the sale of self-help services. While only 5% of users are approved for attorney representation, another 30% have a valid legal claim — it just happens to be the type of claims attorneys don’t like to take on. For example, if an employee has a valid har،ment claim but hasn’t been terminated, there likely aren’t any damages or opportunity for an attorney to recoup fees. Thurgood’s mission and business model are tied to helping the millions of victims of discrimination-related claims, whether their case is attorney quality or not.

Have you received outside funding? Less than $1M in outside funding.

TimeSentry.ai is built specifically for lawyers yet remains agnostic to practice management systems, allowing it to integrate across different platforms. Our AI agents create customized workflows that map to any practice management software, enabling a flexible solution for diverse legal environments. For example, an AI agent can join a call to track its duration, map the time entry to the appropriate matter, generate a list of follow-up items, and update attorneys’ calendars with action items and due dates. Our AI-driven platform suggests time entries and supports adherence to client guidelines, helping all attorneys — especially t،se from marginalized backgrounds — ،mize their billable ،urs and realize fair compensation for their contributions. Additionally, we actively partner with ،izations that champion diversity in tech and legal sectors, promoting equitable practices that support career advancement for attorneys of all backgrounds.

By addressing these disparities and supporting inclusive initiatives, TimeSentry.ai not only enhances operational efficiency for legal firms but also contributes to a more diverse and equitable legal industry, empowering attorneys to thrive and achieve long-term success.
